Method 3 (Online, Semi-automatic Sharing): On your “My Account -> My Referrals” page, click “Copy my referral link” and manually paste it to any social networking, sharing, or media platforms or tools, including “Pinterest”, “Facebook”, “Google+”, “Twitter”, “Tumbler”, or “Email”. For example, you can paste it to a blog site, forum site, craigslist, or online chatting tool. In such cases, some complementary blurbs about the site will be helpful to get the attention.

What happens after I made my referral?

How long will a referral be effective?

A referral will be in effect within 30 days starting from a referral relationship is established between the two customers (the referrer and the referee).

For example, your friend clicks your referral link posted on Facebook and he subsequently registers on the site on 1/1/2014, then all orders he places between 1/1/2014 – 1/30/2014 will be considered as your referral. 

How much can I make?

Referral fees will vary depending on whether the referred customers are new or already registered customers to ORIENTMOON.COM. The Referral fees are in percentage to the amount of purchase made by the referee. The reward fees also depend on the referrer’s membership class level. They step up as the referral amount achieves certain levels to satisfy the needs of those who want to make referral a part-time job for extra income.

Membership is classified into 4 different classes/levels according to the cummulated reward points, each 100 points = $1:

For example, if you joined the Customer Referral Program recently, then for each new customer you referred to ORIENTMOON.COM, you will be rewarded for 4.0% of the total purchase of this referred customer (if the order amount is $50, then your reward will be $50x4%=$2=200 points). A few months later once your total rewards points grow over 5,000 (or $50), then you will be move up from “Standard” to the “Bronze” level, and your next referral fee will be at 5% for new customer referral and 2.5% for existing customer referral.

How can I get my rewards money?

You can redeem your referral reward points in following ways:

-  Purchase items on ORIENTMOON.COM site. See details on how to use reward points in check-out process.

-  Cash out as real money. On “My Account -> My Reward Points” page, click on “Cash Out” button to cash out your reward points.

Rewards Points can only be cashed out in 1,000 ($10) units, with a minimum of 2,000 each time. Currently cash out will be paid in checks, in future we will add PayPal and credit card payment as well.

How do I check my referral records?

You can review your referral results and rewards at anytime on your “My Account -> My Referrals” page. It will list records of your earned referral points, and your referred customers, etc. You can also cash out your earned rewards points, or use it to purchase products on the site.

What is in for Referred Customers?

A referred customer (referee) will also appreciate your referral as he/she will earn 500 points (a $5 value), 200 points extra than usual, when he signs up at our site. The extra reward motivates him/her to enter your Referral ID when the referral is via a non-digital media (a poster for example) so you can get credited for your work.
